Our contribution to more sustainability: We work with 100 per cent green electricity
70 per cent of our electricity comes from hydroelectric plants and
30 per cent from photovoltaic cells.
We use only environmentally friendly energy at Zeisberger. We meet 70 per cent of our annual electricity needs with hydroelectric power produced in Germany. And the photovoltaic panels installed on our premises generate 30 per cent of the electricity we consume in an ecologically responsible way.
That adds up to 100 per cent green electricity!

Where possible, we replace composites with single-material films that are suitable for recycling. We reduce film thicknesses and hence the consumption of materials. We offer films made from renewable, bio-based raw materials or with a high recycled content. And our portfolio also includes biodegradable films and greenfilms that can be added to household compost.
Economy
Economical film use presupposes seamless, trouble-free production. We provide you with the right kind of film for your production process and cut your material costs, for example by offering you reduced-thickness films. Not only does that give you budget predictability; it also ensures your success and contributes to your image as a company where sustainable and responsible conduct forms the basis for all business activities.
People
Hygiene and the protection of human health are paramount in the food industry. Our films enhance product safety and enable food products to be packed under strict hygienic conditions. Our goal: to close recycling loops and achieve high recycling rates. With our innovative solutions, you’re optimally prepared. For example, we offer you recyclable films as well as films made from recycled materials.
Biodegradable films
We make efficient use of resources and we also offer films made from renewable raw materials as well as biodegradable films and even greenfilms that can be added to household compost. As biodegradable films, greenfilms are environmentally friendly and provide excellent processing properties.

Our compound films ensure the highest levels of protection for products and people: they extend the shelf life of foodstuffs and safeguard them against detrimental influences such as mineral oils.
